Massachusetts Indoor Tennis Association (MITA)
The Massachusetts Indoor Tennis Association is an organization of indoor tennis facilities located in Southern Massachusetts. Its purpose is to promote and provide tennis competition to its Member Clubs for their own individual members. It has been formed to offer a coordinated structure of team play at various levels for men and women. We are members of the Baystate Tennis Conference and partnered with he Weymouth Club, YMCA/Hanover, Scituate Racquet & Fitness Club, The Kingsbury Club and Lakeville Athletic Club.
Ladies MITA Teams:
* Champs, Aces, Div. 1, 2 & 3
* Practice on Mondays or Tuesdays
* Match play on Wednesday or Thursday
Men's MITA Teams:
* South of Boston A,B & C level
* 3.5 - 5.0 Level
* MATCH play on Saturdays
Mixed Doubles MITA League :
*2.5 - 4.0 LEVELS
*MATCH play on Sundays
Women's Singles MITA League:
* 2.5 - 4.0 LEVELS
*MATCH play on Sundays
Intra-Club Ladies Program:
*The Intra club program is made up of 2.5 + level players who want to improve their tennis game, meet other players, and enjoy a little friendly competition. Skills and drills (4 players & a pro/court) are held on Tuesdays from 1-2:30pm and match play is held on Fridays from 10-11:30 am. Players get to play with and against the other intra club players. All matches are held at the club. Individual scores are recorded and the player with the highest winning average will get a free 1 hour private lesson with one of our pros.

* The pros will set up the match pairings each week
Singles Clinics:
* Thursday 1:30-2:30 pm Level 3.0
* Friday 12:00-1:00 pm Level 3.5
* This clinic will focus on singles strategy while getting a great workout
Wednesday Skills & Drills:
* 1:30-2:30pm Level 2.5 & above
* This clinic focuses on groundstrokes, serves and return of serve, singles/doubles strategy and position
Cardio Clinics:
* Monday 8:30-9:30 am
* Friday 11:00 am-12 noon
*You will hit a ton of balls and get a great cardio workout
Play with the Pro:
* Friday 10-11 am Level 3.5
* Friday 12:30-1:30 pm Level 3.0
* You will work on groundstrokes, volleys, serves, poaching - Only three players per court with the Pro !

U.S.T.A. Women's Summer Travel Teams:
The USTA teams compete against other teams of a similar ability level from the middle of May thru the end of July. Depending upon the level, the matches are Monday - Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 9:00 with practices during the week. Each team in the league will have as many as 15 women per team. The team match format will consist of 2 singles and 3 doubles positions. Eligibility at the 3.0 and 3.5 level would be appropriate for those who participate in Intraclub, Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3 teams. Eligibility at the 4.0 and 4.5 level would be appropriate for those who participate at the Aces and Champs level.

It is our goal to make tennis fun for every child in our program. We hope to develop a sense of accomplishment and competency so each child will feel positive about playing tennis now and for the rest of their lives. We will evaluate each child to find an appropriate age and ability group so they have the best opportunity to improve and have fun at the same time.
